Va-et-vient

French music will fill the beloved Ripton Coffeehouse with Va-et-vient next July!  The evening will feature music from many French-speaking lands, and as always, the audience is welcome to "chanter avec nous !"

We are delighted to return to this Summer Series, hosted by Pentangle Arts, on the beautiful Village Green in lovely Woodstock, VT.  As the series’ name implies, come bring your picnic dinner, spread out, and enjoy a fun early evening listening to those oh-so-sweet French tunes.  C’est toujours un plaisir !

The beloved French Heritage Festival is back, and it's still free!  Come on down on a beautiful Sunday morning, as Va-et-vient performs for its twelfth year running, in front of the Champlain Mill on Winooski Falls Way.  This year's event features a tourtière contest, so dust off that recipe that was entrusted to you, and come share your mad baking skills with a delicious meat pie while you chantez avec nous !

Due to illness, Va-et-vient is not able to perform tonight, but we look forward to rescheduling our concert! The third Saturday in August is Shelburne Day, and Va-et-vient will be performing for this fun free event.  The regular Shelburne Farmers Market vendors are joined by dozens of other local businesses and organizations eager to tell their stories, display their products, talk to their old friends and new friends, and celebrate their importance to the local economy and the fabric of the town.

Please tune in Wednesday night, as the band is interviewed and will perform live between 8:00 and 9:00 PM.  A good time should be had by all, right from the comfort of your own home (or car)!  Bonnes écoutes !

Va-et-vient will kick off Labor Day weekend with a rare appearance in Franklin County, Vermont, with a concert at the beautiful Opera House in Enosburg Falls.  Come join us as summer vacations wind down, and get your kids excited for Back-to-School (where hopefully French classes await!) with the chance to chantez avec nous.

With a BMW motorcycle club en visite du Québec, this private event features a Saturday night soirée, with special guest musician Adam Dewey joining Va-et-vient to get toute la gang up and moving!  Bienvenus au Vermont à tous les invités !

As the leaves turn the countryside rainbow colors, load up your family or friends for the beautiful drive to Sheldon, VT, near St. Albans, and bring them to Grace Church, where Va-et-vient will perform lively French tunes, celebrating local heritage, and get you dancing in the aisles.  Suggested donation is $15.00, and families are welcome to create their own family price, as we love to get those little ones singing and dancing too!

We are delighted to perform Friday night for the opening of the 26th edition of this wonderful festival in Essex Junction, Vermont, where hundreds of cultures are represented with music, dance, crafts, art, and food!  This festival brings world travelers together with all their stories, and provides a magical holiday shopping experience.  Va-et-vient will perform from 5:30 to 6:00 pm on the Main Stage adjoining the World Café, and again from 7:30 to 8:00 pm on the Zócalo Stage.  Be ready to sing and dance avec nous !
