Va-et-vient

Quel plaisir !  It's been years since we last played the South Burlington Library's wonderful concert series, with a full house ready to sing along.  Please join us for this free concert, and enjoy this wonderful library where no one will be shushed!  (It's a brave new world for us old folks...)

We are so pleased to be included in the concert series produced at the First Congregational Church of Essex Junction, 1 Church Street, Essex Jct., VT 05452.  Come spend a nice mid-March Sunday afternoon with us at the beautiful church!  Et comme toujours, chantez avec nous, nos ami.e.s !  

Josée Duquette (of the Québec Government Office in Boston), Lise Veronneau (Honorary Consul to France in Vermont), and Kristine Lott (Mayor of Winooski) will be hosting this celebration of Vermont's links to France and Québec.  Va-et-vient, in duo form (Suzanne Germain and Lausanne Allen) will greet participants with a free concert from 12:30 to 1:00, followed by introductory remarks, a group of French students from Mount Abraham High School who speak of their French studies, and remarks from other dignitaries.  Va-et-vient will close the celebration with call-and-response songs.  All are welcome to join in this special celebration, and as you Read More

This lovely church is hosting a noon-time concert series throughout the month of April. Each Wednesday of the month, there will be a short concert in the UU Sanctuary.  We will be performing from 12:00 till 12:40 PM, so please come enjoy this free concert--the perfect lunch break!  We look forward to you singing along with us, comme toujours !

We are very pleased by so many of our beloved local libraries becoming music venues as well.  (Gone are the days of getting shushed!)  The gorgeous Bixby has lovely acoustics, and we are delighted to join their line-up of free community offerings.  S'il vous plaît, venez participer dans ce bijou parmi bibliothèques, et chantez avec nous !

We are so pleased to be performing at our favorite trad festival!  The town of St-Antoine-sur-Richelieu is given over to this festival for a long weekend every year, with workshops for musicians and dancers Thursday and Friday, then the crowds turn up, many with tents and campers in tow.  We will be opening Friday evening's festivities in the Scène Yves Steinmetz from 6:00 to 6:45, and a good time will be had by all!

We will perform again for the École Française, where all the immersion students are ready to join us for the réponses !  This concert is free, but no English may be spoken, alors venez nous trouver dans le Château, en français !

Lincoln Peak Vineyard, at 142 River Rd, New Haven, VT 05472, is having a party!  Va-et-vient will be playing, wine will be flowing, and a Makers' Market will be happening.  Don't miss the perfect capper to Middlebury's Festival on the Green week just down the road!

Come join us in lovely Ballard Park, in the middle of Westport, NY, with your picnic gear and blanket or chairs, where the weather will no doubt be impeccable.  Dance fans, come down and sit in front if you'd care for a waltz or two-step!  It's a free concert, thanks to the wonderful organizers, so please join us!
