    Va-et-vient is delighted to participate in an engaging conference where students showcase papers, projects, and posters that celebrate French and Spanish languages and cultures.  Language students from SUNY Adirondack campuses will be joined by local participating high schools via the High School College Academy.  The SUNY Adirondack community is encouraged to attend this school-day event. 9:45 Salsa lesson; 10:40 Student Presentations; 11:45 Culinary Arts Club offers Lunch; 12:45–2:00 Francophone music & dance with guest artists “Va-et-Vient.”  Come join the fun!

    First Night North goes virtual!

    This year, friends far and near can see our band, Va-et-vient, performing virtually on New Year's Eve between 5:00 and 6:00 for Saint Johnsbury's First Night North celebration! We actually played in Carol's back yard mid-October, so you'll see a sunny fall afternoon, but that's 2020! The link to gain FREE access is https://www.catamountarts.org/first-night-north .     Va-et-vient plays at the Fête du fort !

    Fort Ticonderoga, just across Lake Champlain from us in Addison County, Vermont, has rescheduled its planned festivities from last year, and will be holding an outdoor celebration with lots of wonderful events in the works.  We are delighted to participate!  Organizer (and V.P. of Public History) Stuart Lillie  is planning a day filled with fun and history, with Va-et-vient performing at 12:45 and 2:30 PM.  The ferry will be running, so come on out and make a day of it!

    Va-et-vient plays Westport, NY!

    We are pleased to be part of the Ballard Park Foundation's Summer Concert Series!  Our show will be at the Ballard Park Pavillion on 6466 Main Street in Westport, located on the west shore of beautiful Lake Champlain.  Seating is open air, on the lawn, and in case of rain, we will move across the street to the Westport Heritage House.  Chantez..et dansez...avec nous !

    Charlotte’s Grange on the Green welcomes Va-et-vient!

    Mike Walker (mjwalker@gmavt.net) is organizing a Thursday series on the Charlotte town green and Charlotte library porch.  In addition to lively music, the "Grange on the Green" event features food and displays from Charlotte Farmers.  We are delighted to join them, so please bring your appetites, and be ready to chantez avec nous !  

    Va-et-vient plays in the West Cornwall Social Distancing Concert series

    We had our last concert of 2020 in this wonderful outdoor space in October.  Bring your lawn chairs, favorite snacks and beverages, and watch the sunset over the Adirondacks (oh, that view – spectaculaire !).  Family units will be seated together, and Host-with-the-Most (and drummer and chef par excellence) Dan Whittemore ensures that everyone is safe and happy.  We are delighted to return in August!  Free-will contributions  rule the day, and ensure that none are turned away, yet musicians are paid. 14 Audet Rd., Cornwall, VT 05753
