  • Va-et-vient à deux at the Folk Alliance International conference

    It is our pleasure to perform in New Orleans, LA for the Folk Alliance International's annual conference.  We will perform at the Open Mic on January 21, 2026, then at the Newcomers' Showcase on January 24th, from 12:30-1:15am (OK, it's technically 1/25!) at the Sheraton.  (Since we began performing together in 1998, it's a hoot to be in the Newcomers category!)  We're also looking forward to hearing other attendees, such as Ani DiFranco, Jourdain Thibodeaux et les Rôdailleurs, the Angelique Francis Band, and Okan.

  • Va-et-vient fusion concert returns to French Heritage Day!

    We are delighted to present a fusion of two groups, Va-et-vient and Mariposa, in concert at French Heritage Day, celebrating Vermont’s rich French history and heritage, as well as Québecois culture. The festival started in 2005 in Vergennes and moved to Winooski in 2015 where it took up root at the Winooski Farmers Market.  Va-et-vient was a staple of the festivities for most of its first two decades, and we're pleased to return!  Our performance will be from 10:00am to 11:30am, and this wonderful free festival will continue until 2:00pm.  Venez nous redécouvrir !

  • De retour encore à l’École française de Middlebury College !

    C'est toujours un honneur et un grand plaisir de revenir à l'École française. Les étudiant.e.s participent avec beaucoup d'enthousiasme, car c'est la manière la plus simple d'entrer dans la langue, à travers la musique.  Nous attendons avec impatience notre concert du soir, entièrement en français biensûr, honorant l'engagement linguistique des étudiants, et de rencontrer les étudiants avant le concert au dîner à Proctor.

    Va-et-vient is delighted to return to the free summer evening music series at Charlotte Public Library in Charlotte, Vermont.  We will perform on the west porch of the library.  Please bring your picnic baskets, blankets or folding chairs, and settle in on the lawn.  Our indoor location, in the event of rain, will be in the senior center across the road.  Au plaisir de vous rencontrer et faire chanter !
