French Dessert Competition:  At 5:00 pm, before the doors open to the public, contestants present their handmade French desserts for judging by a panel of professional judges.

To enter, pre-register online:  barreheritagefestival.org/la-soiree-sucree.html .  Or, on July 27, bring your dessert to Delicate Decadence, 15 Cottage Street, Barre no later than 4:30 pm, or to the Old Labor Hall, 46 Granite Street no later than 5:00 pm.  No late entrants will be allowed.

French Dessert Tasting:  Immediately following the judging, at 5:30 pm, the doors will open to the public.  Take this opportunity to sample the contest entries and revel in the delicious desserts also provided by the talented chefs of Delicate Decadence.  Bon Appétit !
