Suzanne Germain

Suzanne Germain, a Franco-American, grew up speaking French at home in Vermont. Her father, André Germain, who had a great passion for music, introduced her to Québecois and Cajun music. She has been performing throughout Vermont with the world music a cappella group, Womensing, for many years, singing in many languages (she is fluent in Spanish as well). She began singing with Carol in 1997. She lives in the mountains of Lincoln, Vermont in the home her husband Ed built. There, they raised two daughters, Rachel and Isabelle. Her work as a nurse practitioner has taken her all over the world (living in Switzerland and Mexico, volunteering in Honduras, Nicaragua and Mississippi…), as well as kept her out of trouble in Vermont. Suzanne has been singing all her life for the pure joy of it!
